Is my child too young for speech therapy?
If you have a concern or a ‘niggle’ it is always better to get it checked out. Not only to put your mind at rest but the evidence is that the sooner your child gets the right support the better the outcomes. In general No child is too young, however, in your initial consultation, we will discuss. the concerns you have and the age of your child and if we feel they are meeting their milestones, we may advise you wait and see how they are developing before you think about any assessment or therapy.

How many sessions will my child need?
This varies from child to child and family to family. There are many factors we consider when making this decision with you such as; the needs of your child, their age, your previous Speech therapy support and experience, their need for routine, your families timetable.
Some children come weekly, others fortnightly, monthly or 3 monthly. occasionally children attend more than one session per week.

Is there a waiting list?
There is currently a waiting list of approximately 4-5 months. We work on a first come basis. You can add your child’s name to the waitlist here.

How much does private Speech therapy cost?
Are fees are all available on the website. Please click here for a full list of all our fees. Many health insurance policies cover Speech Therapy services so please check with them directly for the details of your policy.
